Photo inspiration

Interest forums / Travel Tech

If anyone is looking for some photo inspiration for the Maldives, Australia, Iceland, England, Italy and Peru, please check out my website www.barhamphotography.com

This isn't some promotional spam, photography is just my hobby and I welcome any feedback you want give. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Cheers

I had a look at the site.

If you don't mind a bit of criticism, don't try to be "too clever". Close ups and odd angels may look good but broad sweeping images with lots of colour looks good too.

With digital cameras now people can take a hundred photos and keep maybe just a few good ones. Experiment, as sometimes you can see good things in a photo that you did not see at the time.

I'll also off some feedback as well. The purpose of the website seems to be to show off your photo collection while also selling photos as well. If it is indeed to sell photos, you need to cull the photos down and keep only your best on show. Also too many horizons were not straight. Quite a few of the animal photos were focussed just off the eye. Also the webpage menu bar is a bit cluttered and portrait orientated images ended up too big on my screen.

Just my thoughts though.

oh some of the photos are clearly over processed with halos visible and over saturated. Fine if that is what you were after of course, but many don't like that either.

Hi,
We share the same hobbies : travels and pictures
your pictures are nice but 2 advices according to me :
1) make a selection of only the best pictures (best subject, best light, best sharpness)
2 ) be careful in processing (I know it is sometimes difficult…)

Have a look at my site (which is not perfect…)
