Phi Phi

I’m planning to go to Phi Phi in December. I saw in another post somebody complaining that this island is expensive. How expensive is medium range accommodation and diving on Phi Phi? I’m planning to start from Koh Tao is it les expensive than Phi Phi?
Except of diving / snorkeling are there other outdoor activities to do there?

• What is better as starting point for Phi Phi: Krabi or Phuket?
• Having seen Phi Phi is Ko Lanta interesting (for diving and other outdoor activities) as well?

Beach Volleyball. That's about it. and drinking - if you consider that an activity.

Phi Phi is a crap hole.

Better diving in Koh Tao than off of Lanta.

Koh Tao is definitely less expensive than Koh Phi Phi, and there is more to do here too :)

They'll probably bring you to the same diving spots from Lanta too.

All the cats seem to prefer Tao this days. I didn't really like it when I was there.... just felt like I was in Europe with Asian scenery.

Great German bakery on Tao ... just like in Europe.

There different sea for the both coast
Koh Tao is nice and also good for beginning diving, Phi Phi is expensive through (yes because it's not a land and there is tourist place just like Phuket, a lots of promote for Phi Phi)

But it's fine you don't have to stay at Phi Phi for diving, Koh Lanta have many accommodations that you can choose and do diving from there aswell.

However Koh Phi Phi still worth to go!
