Paper guide of Uzbekistan?

Hi,

A very basic question: I am thinking going to Uzbekistan and looking for a paper guide to get to know the country.
Not easy to find though, as the LP is pretty old...
What would you recommend?

The LP is fine. Besides they become out dated before they're even published. A traveller recently posted this on the forum

In addition to the out of date LP guide, I can thoroughly recommend another guide book entitled Uzbekistan The Golden Road To Samakand by Calum MacLeod and Bradley Mayhew - ISBN 978-962-217-795-6.
