so my question is: is that OK sending credit card details per fax to p@thagone tour operator to get my bed booked in the refugios in torres del paine national park? is that thrue P@thagone is FINACIALLY BATTLING? PLS HELP! on the one hand i want to have my beds booked, on the other hand i dont want to be ripped off ... it is URGENT! pls help, i am seeking for it! ANYONE there in puerto natales, having up-to-date information on the issue?

if you use your credit card and they charge you but don't provide the service, you can always contest it with the credit card company. it may be a pain, but they are likely to give you money back eventually. as far as i know, though, refugios grey and dickson are closed, so i wouldn't send money to anyone claiming to reserve you a aplace there.
