Overstaying tourist card?

Has anyone overstayed your tourist card in Bolivia? What penalty did you have to pay when leaving the country?

2 years ago it was 10 or 20 bolivianos per overstayed day -

You can easily extend it to 90 days at an immigration office. In La Paz, it just takes one minute.

Card already extended to 90 days.

friend of mine overstayed 100 days (he was too lazy to do the border run) - paid his fine when leaving -no further questions asked -

Bs 10 a day. Mate of mine overstayed 6 months, again no problem when paying the fine, but best to do this either at migration the day before, or at an airport, not a land border.
