Oruro -- notes

Hi all,

Just a couple notes --

LP says -- Oruro is always cold and windy -- well, if in LP, it must be true -- today is an abberation -- it.s hot and sunny.

LP says -- Train station open in the morning -- today it opens at 3pm.

LP (and everyone else says) nothing doing ever in Oruro -- today is the first round of carnaval eliminations, and virtually every hotel in the city is completely booked up. -- my impression is this happens 1 time per month until carnaval actually happens.
