organised tours

Hi

I will be in Ireland for a week in September. I am interested in doing an organised tour.

Which company do you recommend Paddywagon or Shamrocker? Are their style the same or any differencies? Whats your experiences from this companies, any special tour you recommend or not recommend?

I've done a Paddywagon tour, and have travelled with other companies in the same 'family' as Shamrocker. I would imagine they are much a muchness from what I have seen.

I personally really enjoyed my Paddywagon tour, but was lucky to be in a group of 12, and we had a really nice, responsible driver. Other tours at the same time were in groups of nearly 50, and had drivers who partied away with them, then spent the next day pulling over to throw up. Lovely.

I did the 6 day South tour, and you saw lots of interesting stuff. Our driver, Joe, said it was his favourite tour to lead, and it really showed. I would recommend the tour, but as I've said, it seems to be luck of the draw somewhat.
