opticians

Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Pakistan

anyone knows a good opticians in Lahore?Which is the best one?How much for the test? How much for the specs?Going inJan for a week stay so have got some time to wait for specs to be made?

Can't answer for Lahore specifically but last week I ordered new lenses from Shaheed Opticians in F6 in Islamabad and they were ready in 24 hours. 6500 PKR for thin, hard-coated lenses only - I had a spare frame. The eye test was free, or perhaps included in the service.

Optica, Liberty Roundabout is a good plcae. Price depends on what kind of frame and lenses you choose.

Cheers

I had some glasses made in Delhi, Austrian frames, Japanses lenses. The only thing Indian was the grinding and the screwed it up -- the lenses were warped. Make use you get them somewhere you have time to go back to them if they are not right.

There are many good opticians in Lahore. It is quite cheap to get your eye-sight tested and get your glasses made here.
