I'll bite: roasted almonds are good. Black walnuts are disgusting. Peanuts are technically not nuts. Coconuts have their place, but are often abused, such as putting it in rice.

The small deep fried locusts, which taste not unlike peanuts (to stay on topic) come in at a very close second.
The larger ones aren't as pleasant to eat.

Lot of fresh young as well as mature coconuts on the trees rotting away and going to waste in our garden as the palms are too tall to harvest and too difficult to dehusk.Its cheap and plentiful around here to just buy them freshly grated or as fresh coconut milk/cream.Can't even give them away.
