Nuerenberg accomodation

Country forums / Western Europe / Germany

I'm looking for affordable accomodation in Nuerenberg, a few days next week.
Need to be at BioFach, Messezentrum, so preferably around or with good connections.

I visited the Bio-Fach last year and my accommodation was die Jugendherberge situated on a marvellous historic site, de Kaiserburg: www.djh.de
It's in the slightly north of the centre of the town and the Bio-Fach is more south. 7 km interesting kms I esteem...I took my bicycle and could make a nice tour seeing the Reichsparteitaggelände (Hitler), the gigantic Coloseum look-alike, nowadays informatiocentre, all quite close to the Messegelände and touring through te historical Innenstadt with the biggest wall of Germany around.
So not quite close but worth while when you want to see something.

A bit late to search for accommodation.

local public transport network
Stop Messe is served by the U-Bahn lines U1 and U11.
If you have bought your admission tickets in advance public transport from/to the Messe is included.

Just a side note concerning the YH: Bavaria is still rather strict about the 'Youth' in 'Youth Hostel', meaning that travellers below 26 years of age will be preferred to older travellers. I do not know how they actually enforce this rule (e.g. in case someone booked ahead), yet they're blazing this abroad whereever and whenever possible.

...ther's also the Lette'm Sleep hostel in a very handy location and no age restriction...
