November travel to Greece - Weather and FerriesCountry forums / Western Europe / Greece
Hi! I am travelling to Greece on October 30th. I'll be in Athens from November 1st to 7th, Then off to Mykonos til November 11th, then heading to Santorini until November 16th, and then back to Argentina. I was wondering if you could tell me what the islands are like in that time of the year and also, I have been trying to find Ferry schedules for that time and I could not find any. Do you think there will be ferries available for November? Thank you!
Hi! Unlike what most people think Mykonos and Santorini are at their best in Autumn. You will enjoy a beautiful and balmy weather while away from the crowds and experiencing both destinations in a more budget-friendly manner. | 1
My dear friend, you have not find ferry schedules between Mykonos and Santorini simply because there is none on November. This is a seasonal route aimed to tourists and ceases operation sometime on middle October. Athens to Mykonos or Athens to Santorini and v.v. are year around routes, so no problems there, but to combine those two islands off season you will have to return in Athens or maybe spend one or two nights on an intermediate island. Santorini has the views, up to a point I see the appeal, but Mykonos on November...Why? | 2

Indeed, no ferries or direct flights between Mykonos and Santorini in November. Though I see you could book a cheap flight connection with Aegean Mykonos-Athens-Santorini for 58€ on November 11th. | 4
