Novaland tour operator

Does anyone have any views of Novaland tours? Apparantly they have branches all over Asia, including Japan, China, Vietnam etc. We're planning to take a tour of South Korea, tailor made by them, but we are a bit weary since we have to pay the full amount 30 days prior to the tour, before we've even arrived in the country. Any views and rewiews, primarily if there's any negative response to this operator? The positive feedback is overwhelming at their own website and according to trip advisor. Almost seems to good to be true?

I have no experience in this matter, but if you have any questions about the folks on TripAdvisor, there is a mechanism for you to ask them directly. For example, fencejumper (who posted about Novaland) on Trip Advisor is a very active member with a wide range of reviews. You could ask her directly how she handled the advance payment question. You could also look up her other reviews to see if you think she is sincere.

I have only once booked a tour in my life. I spoke to a friend who had used a highly recommended guide, and that guide gave me the name of the company she works for- I wanted to visit an area she did not handle. It was a very small but well established operator. I paid everything up front - though the tour did not include food or activities: just car, driver, guide, hotels.

Hello Romee 33. How is your research into Noavland going? I am also reseraching a tour with them - but to Thailand. And was concerned about the same issues - low feedback and rating so positive it is almost too good to be true. I posted a question but haven't gotten much help so far. Have you had any luck?
I will say this tho - I've mainly done my own thing/tour. But a small group of us did go wtih a tour in Nepal - and it was the same thing - local, small company with low but very positive feedback. And it was fantastic! We couldn't have been happier.
