New Zealand Rainforest

The Arataki Visitor Centre is the gateway to the Waitakere Ranges, a subtropical rainforest just outside Auckland's city centre in New Zealand. Sadly many rainforest trails may close due to the kauri dieback disease. I am glad I had a chance to walk some of the trails and can share these photos of waterfalls, dense green forest, and a weta (the world's heaviest insect)
