found a reasonable price for flights to kampala over new year and was wondering what goes on there to see in the new year. any ideas.

New Year in Kampala is biiig business. Normally, people go eat in any of the many restaurants, then congregate in town for the fireworks done by Sheraton which are big and widely see-able. Often, there is a big group coming as well. E.g. Shaggy or Sean Paul. Afterwards, they go to club; starting 1-2 AM; for which you need to buy tickets weeks in advance sometimes. Best is Rouge. If you like drunk volunteering girls, go to Bubbles. Big club should be Silk (but tickets needed in advance)
