New La Costena Flight

La Costena will me flying from Managua to Ometepe starting May 29.

for better or for worse? there goes ometepe's beauty and say hello to mass tourism

I noticed the runway when i was there in Feb,its on a weird slope,wouldn't fancy arriving/departing from that.

Its a shame too as the boat trip over to Ometepe was a highlight of our trip,i wouldn't want to miss that just to save a few hours.

There goes the neighborhood. Oh well, progress I suppose.

Yeah the ferry ride is great, part of the experience.
