Can we still take bikes on the airport shuttle into the city (KSR, etc)?
Any other bike friendly transport to it (I loved the old train station at Don Muang)?
What is it like to cycle there, particularly from the east, eg Chonburi?
Any other comments on (for many of us) our gateway to the Orient!

| rainboy04:50 UTC24 Jan 2007 | Did you try this on the Thailand Branch. There's a lot of local Bangkok posters over there and there's a long thread on the airport. I think they are the same buses as before.

| madlybackwards22:03 UTC24 Jan 2007 | Was just in the new BKK airport last week. The buses into town don't have any under-stowage, but if you're alone it's simple enough to take your bike on the Express buses. $150baht dropped me right downtown.
I ended up just leaving my bike in left baggage for a few days though, as it was only $100baht per day and I was just transferring to Hanoi.

does anyone know if I could still exchange US$ to ThaiBahts at such late night at the airport?
What's the best way (at this late night time) to get to the down town cheap GH? Maybe I have to apy for the Hotel for the 1st night. I'd really appreciate the help -it's my 1st Asia!
