Musician interested in gigs

I am a musician interested in living in India for a while. Does anyone have any idea how hard it might be to get gigs at bars or clubs in India to supplement my income a bit? (rock, acoustic...) Any thoughts as to how I could go about this?

Try Any of the Tourist bar's in Goa, you might be able to play for Beer's and Food but i think that would be about it...
