Munich : suggestions for two evenings

I will be going to Munich on work and have just :( :( two evenings free after work . Ive never been to Munich and want to see and do as much as possible
Any suggestions ?
Love old cities, people, local music ....

If you like Jazz and great bier, I would recommend Sepp Kratz's Wa-Wi restaurant und bier garten. However, if you have never been to Munchen, you must see the world;s most famous bier halle: Hofbrauhaus. Address: Am Platzl #9

I love the Augustiner. The interior is dark wood charm and the small biergarten is very pleasant with very little street noise.

I was vey lucky the first time I went to the Hofbrauhaus as Munich had won a soccer game that day and the majority of the people in the hall were German. The large garten is always fun. If you get stuck indoors, try to sit near a Stampttisch so you'll be near some natives. There's almost always an Oompah band playing.

If you're athletic at all I highly recommend renting a bike. Munich is very small by bike. Riding around the Englischer Garten is great and there's an outdoor beer place. Riding along the Isar is also nice.

Climb the tower in St. Peter's church for a great view of the city.
