Mud in Peten?

Hey there -- for anyone in Peten/around Flores and Tikal, and especially anyone who's recently done the El Mirador trek, how's the mud? Has the rainy season been bad lately?

Peten is very muddy right now, enough to swallow a cow, in places. It should improve within a month if we get normal weather patterns.
