Hi, | ||
Haven't done it myself, but can you use google earth maps or satellite pictures to show you? | 1
My impression is that "Gare Maritime" means "Passenger Boat Terminal" rather than "Railway Station by the port". | 2
It's very near : I would say 1 or 2 km maximum from Saint Charles to the corsica ferry harbour. You can cycle or take a bus. | 3
do a search on www.viamichelin.com</a> there is an option by bike. | 4
Sorry for the confusion, what I meant (and sort of said) is that from looking at the map I pulled up, there appears to be a railway station at the gare maritime - the rail line passes through the port area. It is fairly common for ports to have their own railway stations, I know Calais always used to have one. Maybe your train might stop there as well as at the main station of St Charles. Could be worth enquiring? | 5
Thanks for all the replies, feel a bit more relieved now. | 6
