Majestic Tower Hotel Dubai

Hi
Has anyone recently stayed this hotel. I have booked a 4 nights stay in May.
However, I have read several posts about the hotel charging a deposit of 1000 and a 1800 Aed.
If this is true then nothing is mentioned in the hotels terms and conditions.

I forgot to mention that I have already paid for this hotel.

I read about it as well and (I stayed at a more upscale hotel) on my trip in march they did it in my hotel as well.

If nothing happens and you have no extra expences (like Mini-Bar) then they will refund it at the end of your stay.
(I never had anything on my credit card bill written that my credit card was charged)

Short: It's only a deposit which you get back at the end of your stay

I phoned the hotel and they informed me that they charge 200AED per night ,in cash
or they can take you credit card details.
Now that been cleared up ill use my credit card

@ Nantydrdeath - Are you referring to the Majestic Hotel in Bur Dubai, Mankhool area? I've not stayed there, but have gone to the bar/club there (Music Room). It's quite a good place...and very close to the Bur Dubai markets, supermarkets, and about 10 minutes walk from the Metro. Shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers Lonelyindiantraveller but we came back 6 weeks ago and got to say the place was great.
After a few hickups were sorted we enjoyed our stay there. Cheers
