machu pichu tickets

Hello fellow travelers. I plan to trek to Machu Picchu in April. As I attempt to purchase M. P. tickets online, I've found several places to buy. So my question is, is there an official site to purchase them or do you have any suggestions as to the best site to buy them through?

The only official place to buy is here. You can probably buy elsewhere but they'll just be agencies acting as a 'go-between'.

I recommend you to buy the tickets in the main plaza of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), cause it will be a lot cheaper than if you buy them with agencys (they buy the tickets from there and then sell them for more money to the tourists).
