Macas and beyond

Hola,Has anybody been in the jungle near Macas to the Peruvian border? Or has someone made the voyage to (San José de) Morona, also near the Peruvian border? What was your experience in this area? Are there any sleeping accommodations in or near San José de Morona?I’d like to hear it!Saludos (removed)

MACAS is just like puyo, a city in what used to be a jungle.. may be you can go deep into the jungle and actually see some nature... though the best junges of Ecuador are north cuyabeno and Yasuni!
