London to Istanbul - cycle trip

Just wondering if anyone has cycled from London to Istanbul, and if so, what route did you take?

My route here: www.chinacycle.co.uk<BR><BR>We chose Brenmer pass over the Alps because it's low and so in winter it was not too cold/snowy. Down through the balkans was interesting, but in retrospect I would have gone more in land rather than stick to the croatian coast.

Lots of people follow a route along the Danube.
