Lhasa to Kathmandu...

Hi,

I'm Italian and I'm planning to ride from Lhasa to Kathmandu in September. Does anyone know the latest news about Tibet restrictions for 2014?
Any reliable and CHEAP travel agent in Kathmandu that can arrange this trip?
And, if in group, I'm looking for fellows in order to share the (expensive, I suppose) costs of an organized tour.

Your best chance is to find a tour operator in Italy who schedules the tour. It's difficult to find 3 other Italians who want to do it while you are in Lhasa.

I don't know about prices, but 'Dawn Till Dusk' in Kathmandu arranges tours between Lhasa and Kathmandu. It is a bicycle shop. I have bought two bikes from them but not done any of their tours. They are nice to deal with.
