Lhasa – EBC - Kathmandu overland trip from April 28

Hi,

I’m hoping to travel from Lhasa to Kathmandu via EBC about a week from April 28 with spending first 3 nights in Lhasa.

If there is any group taking off Lhasa on May 1 (and arriving Nepal Boarder on May 5 or 6) I can join, please kindly let me know. I’m a female solo traveler from Japan.

We are a French-English couple who will be travelling to Tibet beginning of May. We would like to do a 6 or 7 day trip, via EBC to the Nepali border. Our visas expire on May 9th, so we probably want to leave the country on the 8th.
We are hoping that the travel restrictions on travellers of different nationalities will be lifted soon. If this is the case, would you be interested in sharing a tour?

Thank you very much for the message. I saw your another post on the Lonely planet Thorn Tree and realized that the itinerary is exactly what I’m looking for.

If it is ok for you to push the itinerary few days ahead and start 2 days Lhasa sightseeing from April 29, I would live to join you. (Sorry for the inconvenience but due to my work schedule, I need to reach Nepal boarder by May 5, a bit earlier than you need…)
