Laguna de Apoyo

We will travelling for Nicaragua for 3.5 weeks. We are budgeting three days for Laguna de Apoyo.

In looking into places to stay most people mention either Monkey Hut or Crater's Edge. Are there other places to stay?

What are people's opinons in choosing between the two places mentioned above?

There are lots of other places to stay up in laguan apoyo.I stayed at the Monkey hut, a really nice place.Guess the other options up there are more expencive, but if you can afford it, why not:)

I think there is also an eco lodge there, I believe it is called San Simian. Have heard mixed reviews about it, am sure it is a good bit pricier than the other two. I believe it is owned by the same people who own Casa San Francisco in Granada.

I stayed at Crater's Edge. It was ok, relaxing, food was good.
