krabi - koh phangan - phi phi - phuket

Hi,

I am planning to go to Thailand coming october end for a holiday. I have certain doubts, it'll be great if someone could answer them:

1) What is the cheapest way to travel from krabi to koh phangan (anything but flight) and how much time will it take?
2) How much would be the cheapest accomodation (with swimming pool) in Krabi for?
3) What all things to do in Krabi, the best beaches to visit?
4) How much would be the cheapest accomodation (with swimming pool) in Koh Phangan for?
5) What is the cheapest way to travel from koh phangan to phuket (preferably not a flight) and how much time will it take?

Cheapest for both trips is bus from bus station plus ferry. Minibus/ferry will be a bit more expensive, much more cramped but will normally save some time.
I have written a fair bit on Krabi and Phangan in the second link below. Use the sublinks to accommodation websites to find current prices for places with pools. In October you will get some very good deals. Maybe check sawadee.com for Sand Sea and Railay Bay Resort on West Railay at Krabi, or Daimond PRIVATE on East Railay if you dont mind stairs.
Coconuts is a nice place with a pool on Phangan if you want to be on a nice beach real close to party central at Hat Rin, but there are plenty of other places with pools at nicer locations. Thong Nai Pan and Hat Yao are two possibilities.

Thanks Lezza and Smartcookie for your useful comments. I am leaving for Thailand on 30 Oct, and its a 10 day trip.

@smartcookie, I am going to Phangan from Krabi because I want to attend the half-moon party which is on the 3rd of Nov, and after attending that I'll be continuing my trip to Phi Phi and Phuket. The full moon party is not happening on the dates that I am going (30 Oct - 10 nov). Any suggestions now????
