Kilimanjaro Feb 2016

Hi all,

I will be travellling solo hiking up Kilimanjaro in February 2016 and I am looking for people, groups whom I could join, team up to cut the costs.

I am arriving to Nairobi on 5th Feb and will be heading towards the mountain directly after arrival therefore I could start the climb on same or next day.

Route I would very much like to take is Machame.

I will start contacting the companies in coming month(s) after I do the painstaking task of filtering through them all online.

Perhaps there are already people out there (you!:) who will be in the area at the time and look for a partner and a friendly companion same as me?

Machame is rough but more beautiful rote up the roof top of Africa. If you are arriving in Nairobi late you can start climbing the following day with a group from popular tour firms based in Nairobi doing that mountain. If you need recommendation feel free to ask please.

Hi benjaminlah, as you looking for trekking partners for your trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro, I would recommend you making a partner post in trekbooking.com. It has an active partner section. Machame route is quite a difficult one, it would be wise to choose the best company around for hassle free trekking. If you are interested in finding a great agency, you can try the same site I have mentioned above. I did Kilimajaro last year and I did my trek via the site with the Zara Tours. I had a bit of an adventure and great experience. Best of luck buddy!

There are several companies that offer open group climbs. I think you will find some companies that will have what you want.
