Kathmandu Hotels & Tibet Tour Co

Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Nepal

Hi

I have 2 questions:

1. Has anyone stayed at Vajra Hotel, Kathmandu & what do you think of it? I am currently booking an old wing room (standard)?

2. I want to go to Tibet from Kathmandu & was wondering if anyone can recommend a good tour company KTM based for this- thinking the key highlights of the country?

Many thanks for your assistance.

First of all hotel Vajra is out of Location you can have plenty of Hotel inThamel with your own choice. I stayed at Pilgrims Guest House is very good location and cost you around US 15 for deluxe room.

#1 is a &quot;spamvertiser&quot; but doubt he'll get away with it for much longer.<BR>The Trekkers Society was recommended to me by a long-time poster on Tibet Branch. He's far more reliable than half the fly by nights who post here.

I haven’t stayed at The Vajra Hotel But would recommend “The Kathmandu View Hotel”

Also for your Tibet Trip – Go and see Nirmal at Himalayan Magic Adventures – He arranged this self same trip for me and it was Excellent !!
Details of both HMA and The Kathmandu View Hotel are on
