Hi, this might be a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone can give me more info on a song I'm trying to find ... I heard it on a CD I got from the library years ago.
It's a direct cover, sung in Hindi, of the John Denver song "Take Me Home, Country Roads". If I recall correctly, the title was something like "Ae Hawao Le Chalo" (that's likely to be off though). There was nothing particularly "Indian" about it other than it was sung in Hindi.
Any ideas? It was probably a filmi song or something like that, maybe 80' or early 90s, not sure though.
If you have any ideas, let me know! Thanks! I've googled it with the info I recall, but had no success.
