Is latinbuses.com safe?

Hello there. I am looking to buy a bus ticket Quito -Bogotá, and since there are only about 2 departures each week I wanted to by the ticket in advance so I don't get stuck in quito. Ormeno doesn't allow you to buy tickets online but latinbuses.com does. The site however doesn't look that safe nor authentic to me. Has anyone here used the site to buy bus tickets, and did it work out well ?

Hi Assahansen - did you have any luck with latinbuses?

I'm familiar with Latinbus having contacted the owner a number of times for various reasons. Have never bought a ticket from them but would not hesitate to do so. That said, it's quite easy to buy tickets in person shortly before departure.
