Ireland in June

Country forums / UK & Ireland / Ireland

Hey everyone!

I will be in arriving in Dublin May 29 and leaving June 26. I've never been to this beautiful country and would love to meet other travelers. I'm a 24 year old Canadian looking to do some sight seeing and also traveling to Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Alternatively, if you've got tips for me, places to stay, to go to, where to meet people, things not to miss, please share!

Thank you!!

There is a travel companion branch here, you might cross post there.

Since you have quite some time on your hand you can do a circle around Ireland to include Newgrange (depending on intresst) go from Dublin to Belfast, up to Giants Causeway, over to Connemare, Galway, visit Aran islands and Cliffs of Moher, better seen from a boat, the Durren, down to Ring of Kerry, Cork, make your way back to Dublin.

All of that is very touristy, but you will not find to many non touristy spots in Ireland and end of June peak travel season starts.

Stay in hostels, visit pubs and you might find people you like to travel with, there is no warranty that you will but things happen.
