Insurance whilst away

I'm going on a 12 month trip so have a policy for 12 months. If i decide to stay longer when away does anyone know of any companies that let you take out insurance whilst away already. I'm based in the UK orginally.

The main two are World Nomads and True Traveller.....

Ditto World Nomads will allow you to start or extend your coverage indefinitely while on the road.
