inquiry about bus schedule from Vientiane to Houay Xay

hi,folks
I'm going to take gibbon experience in Houay Xay.
I'll be arriving at Vientiane on 7th Feb by plane in the morning,would it be possible to get bus to Houay Xay before 6pm 8th Feb?
and is there anyone know when will the gibbon tour back to Houay Xay in case I want to go to Luang Prabang as quick as possible

There is a Laos Airlines domestic flight at 10.30 am on the 7th.

Otherwise it's going to be mighty long bus rides.

Would have to add up bus times to get the total time for Huay Xay, but taking that 17.30 night bus you would end up just in time next day I would guess, evening of the 8th.
Some 24hrs in the bus to Huay Xay from Vientiane sounds about right...

Go by bus to Luang Prabang,from there you can take overnight VIP bus to HX.
Even better - you can take speedboat,6h-7 hours exciting ride up Mekong river.
You can go back to Luang Prabang in the same manner - speed boat.
Flight is a bit more then 100US$,more then one hour only.
If you can afford Gibbons,you can fly as well?

Dont expect too much from your Gibbons Experience, you would not be the first to be a little disappointed...
