Indian Visa

Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Nepal

Hi all,

I'm visiting the INdiansubcontinrent again next month and I was wondering whether it is possible to obtain a visa for INdia in Phokara? or do have to go through the lines in Kathmandu again?

Never heard of an embassy in Pokhara so get ready for KTM. Also, there are reports that the length of the visa is being shortened so let us know later..

depends which country you are from.

If oyu are from a SAARC country you shoudl be fine... if not, well.....

If you have visited India before, you shoudl have gotten a visa then - and my advice would have been to get one with a long expiration time. check yours - if it's still good you are all set.

If oyu are from USA, be advised, it can take 10 days to get a India Visa whilst in Nepal. get it done before you go!
