Huancavelica to Ica

Hi, Happy New Year everyone! I hope this is a simple question... I am trying to find out if buses exist from Huancavelica to Ica / Pisco without backtracking to Lima. This would be for a Friday afternoon in April. Thank you. Miika

We recently used shared taxis ("colectivos") up and down from Pisco to Tambo Colorado and Huaytara, which is about half the distance to Huancavelica. We saw buses and other vehicles coming both ways, so it definitely seems doable. There is bus company called "Oropesa" doing Huancavelica-Ica twice daily, but I cant find their exact schedules.
