DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY PUT ME IN A HOTEL WITH HEATERS THAT DID NOT WORK, HAD TO MOVE TO 4 DIFFERENT ROOMS IN TWO DAYS TO FIND ROOM WHERE HEATER WOULD WORK. FOOD IN HOTEL PRODUCED DIAREA. REDUCED STAY WAS RENEGOTIATED, BUT THEY RENEGED ON THE AGREEMENT. STAY AWAY!

And how exactly is a broken heater the travel agencies' fault? Might be time to harden up a little and enjoy the adventurous experience of travel in Tibet.......or go to club med instead........ :) | 2
Bugger the heaters. Throw on a dry pair of socks and jump into bed. Then you'll be warm as toast. | 3
Heater, what's that? ;-) And food is your choice, there are actually some great eateries in Lhasa. It might suit you better to look for other destinations than the plateau or for that matter, the Himalaya region, and I don't wish to sound snippy or offend in any way. Just leafing through the latest LP Tibet guide and I was thinking this may happen, many more people coming to a more civilised looking TAR with expectations formed by travel in gentler parts of the world. All the best in the future and may your better memories last longer instead of these matters. | 4
I agree with with the other posters. | 5
if i didn't have a heater and wanted one then i would go and buy one and put it in the car and bring with me along the way and then give it away at the end... | 6
