How to get to Candidasa

Can I get to Candidasa directly from the airport, Denpansar?

"Directly" from the airport: Only by way of a taxi. But it will be a lot more expensive by taxi than other alternative ways. If arriving at the airport after about 4:00 p.m. a taxi will probably be the only way you can do it if you want to go directly to Candidasa. The most practical way to do it at other times of the day (from 5 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m.) is to take a taxi from the airport to "Batubulan Bus Terminal" in Denpasar, and then take a public colt/minibus from there which is headed to Amlapura (but you get off at Candidasa which is before Amlapura). Or, go to Kuta Beach and spend the night and in the morning take the Perama Shuttle Bus from Kuta toward Padangbai and have them drop you off on the main road at the turn-off to Padangbai and from there take about a 15 minute public colt or bemo to Candidasa. That's it.

Current price from the airport to Candi Dasa by taxi is 300,000 rp. Unless you are in one hell of a rush to get there it would be a good idea to take the advice of Mister Steve. #2.
Candi Dasa has been in the same spot for a number of years now and I can not see it moving in the near future. So there is no real reason to race off to the place. Once you get there you will realise that there was no reason to hurry.
