How can I get from Cairo, Egypt to Eilat, Israel?

Hello. How can I get from Cairo to Eilat for no more than $80? I will need this transportation once in early October.

Isn't there a bus or something from Cairo to Eilat? How long do you think this would be and how much do you think it would cost? Thank you for your help.

Use an East Delta Bus or Superjet from Cairo Gateway bus station (phone 0229243215 or email info@cairolandport.com for timetable and costs), via Sharm el Sheik and onward to the International Taba Transportation Interchange. Walk to the Taba Border Crossing, then take a #15 bus to Eilat's CBS.

So I was just doing some research and apparently there are no cheap or simple ways to get from Cairo to Israel.

I checked for a one way flight from Cairo to Tel Aviv... it was like $150 with a 10 hour layover... the countries are right next to each other, yet the transportation between the two is awful.

Also, many of the buses between the two countries have been cancelled... omg... do people just not go inbetween these two countries without buying a roundtrip flight between the two for a ridiculous $400 or so? This is insane...
