Hotel in Athens

Hello!

On December we are scheduling to visit Athens from 27/12- 3/1/2008!!!
We want to book as soon as possible a nice hotel with reasonable prices!
can you recommend us a hotel?
We usually prefer small hotels or hostals that are more cosy and in a nice neibourhood!

I've stayed at the Pan Hotel mentioned above. Its very easy to travel by metro from the airport to Syntagma Square and the hotel is a 2 minute walk from there. The rooms are basic but clean, its in a fantastic location and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend.

Nice place is also the Hermes ( or Ermis ) hotel at Apollonos Street, 5 mins. walk from Syntagma, 2 mins. from the cathedral, and around the corner from Plaka.
