Hostels/Accom - Rome, Spain, France, London, Morocco

Interest forums / Kids To Go

Can anybody personally recommend first hand tried and true family budget accomodation for Rome, France (Paris and the North), Spain, London and Morocco?

Barcelona - Hostel Campi. Mind you, if you have any attractive older sons who can't handle themselves (think 18+) then watch out for the creepy gay co-manager. Also in the above case, watch out for the highly attractive daughter of the other co-manager!

London - LONSDALE HOTEL, Bloomsbury .. they do quad rooms .. do a search and as long as you don't mind being a little cramped it's great value!

Morocco ... lots of accomodation .. you won't have a problem .. very few YHA's .. If you could expand a bit on where in Morocco you will be ....

Throughout Europe families (and singles) can stay in convents. You reserve your room ...prices are a little higher than hostels in some but in most are similar but a lot include your meals as well. They are very safe. The only stipulation is that most have a curfew and the convent doors are locked by 10 or 11pm. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms for families are very spacious. Many have their own bathrooms with showers. Definitly recommend this route of travel. Am planning to do it again with my daughter when she graduates, but have done it when the kids were younger as well.
