Hostel / Hotel in Shanghai

Gday,
Does anyone know a hotel or hostel in Shanghai where we can get a twin or double room, with or without bathroom for less than Y150.
Have been looking at hostelworld, hostelbookers etc, but most prices seem to be closer to Y200.
Any help would be appreciated.

One or two of us have been panned for suggesting it... but Captains Hostel Fuzhou Lu ( google for website) meets your needs/budget,ok for 2 or 3 nights i feel,staff a bit upthemselves but a great location for the bund and the german brewery nearby.

#1, the private rooms at Captain's Hostel definitely cost MUCH MORE than 150 RMB. Last I knew they were at least twice the price.
OP, if you're looking for something centrally-located enough, you might be out of luck. If you don't mind being near a metro stop but about 8 metro stops away (direct line) from People's Square, then I could help you out.

About a year ago we stayed over at the 'Hikers Hostel' - not far from the bund. From memory, it was about the price you quote, with comfortable accommodation and friendly laid back staff. You should find them on the net. Hotel/hostel prices in China are often subject to negotiation - so you might get a good deal.
