Hi,
I'll be in Jordan in November 09 and would love to do some horseback riding (preferrably Wadi Rum of course).

Can anyone recommend a company (horse friendly) - I do ride regularly.

These are both very good companies, they have excellent Arabian horses for the desert. Both require good riding skills. You can read about them on http://www.jordanjubilee.com/outdoors/riding.htm

There is also an excellent riding stable near to Madaba "Noor Stables" phone +962.6.448.0318. The Mariam Hotel in Madaba can arrange riding for you there. The horses here are magnificent, the manager was formerly manager of the Royal Stud.

I can absolutely recommend Jordan Tracks. I met some of them at a little goodbye party for some clients that were horseriding for 10 days. I walked on my one a couple days around Wadi Rum and found hospitality at their Beduine camp. They were more than nice, offered me space to sleep and food and tea and.... Spent a good night with them, and their clients told me only the best about their whole trip.
