I am planning to go to Mendoza for about at week and Salta for a few days in July.
I wanted to do some trekking, biking, and rafting. Does anyone have suggestions
for companies they recommend if I want to do a group trip with a guide, or any thoughts
on about good rafting or biking trips in these areas. Thanks!

I did the trek to Aconcagua Base Camp last year in November. Some hostel offer this trek as an organized tour, but I did it on my own, which was no problem at all. You the the bus from Mendoza to Puente del Inca. From here you start trekking to a Place called Confluencia (1st day). The next day, you'll reach Plaza Francia at 4200m Altitude and back to Confluencia the same day. Day 3 will take you back out.
It's a very exciting trip and you'll get to Aconcagua as close as possible.
