Hmmmm. Have you considered getting a job and saving for your trip? Generally I've found this to work well for me....

There was a guy a few years ago who created a website where he asked people to send him $1.00 and he made a fortune from it. People obviously liked the cheek. Another guy set up a website Let me stay for a day (a precursor to couch surfing) and had offers from around the world for free accommodation. Then there was the guy who started with a paper clip and traded up every time for something of slightly more value) until he had a house (I think somewhere in Canada).
