Help. How to get to DeWildt Cheetah Centre?

OK I have an offer to take me there and back for 1.100 RAND from Joburg, but that is so ridiculous when it is 3x the price of the actual tour.

Any suggestions on how to get there??? I really don't feel like renting a car for one day, just to do this.

Put your feelings aside and hire the car.
It is by far the cheapest.

The car is the cheapest - depends on if you're only doing the tour, or staying there. I stayed for two nights, so the car would have cost too much for me (sitting there doing nothing for two days...) - I paid R900 for a return transfer from Joburg city with Johnny from King Cheetah Tours - luxury Mercedes 4wd was a nice change from the taxis around Jo'burg, and Johnny was fantastic. I'd recommend him if you go for the transfer option, but you may find the car is better for you - expect it to take 1 1/2-2 hours from Jobug depending on weather and traffic. De Wildt was a lovely place - you'll really enjoy it!!

I had to cancel the tour for now... I cant afford 1000Rand to get up there. and I dont feel comfortable driving a car by myself down there. So I will wait until January, when I will be with someone and rent a car. Now it's just to find activities to do without a car on my first trip!
