Heard of the village Mt. Clare or something similar?

About 4 years ago I went on a 36 hour walk from Rouen to Dieppe. I tried taking one of those fantastic walking paths.

Short story is I lost the maps, but my journal says something about a village like Clare, Mont claire, claire...I'm not sure.

All I know is that on the single street I walked on I saw dozens of the most beautful cottage houses of my life, each with a painted gate and manicured gardens. I want to retire there someday.

Does tis sound at all familar to anybody?

Could it be Clères? Or one of these Normandy villages?

Might be Duclair Duclair - about 15kms north west of Rouen.
