Havelock Island

Hi,
I am going to Havelock island on May for 3,5 days.
I read a lot about Radhanagar beach that this is the most beautiful beach on the island but it's quite far from the city center. So, I am wonder what will be better idea:
- staying for the night (3) near Radhanagar beach and at the afternoon going my motorbike to the city for eat something/spend some time
- staying for the nigh (3) closer to the city center and every day comming (3 times) from the city to Radhanagar beach for relax

I would like to relax but also not get bored at the evenings and have possibility for eat something.

Is here anybody who have been on Havelock? how looks the infrastructure near Radhanagar beach?

There is a regular bus from the village to Radhanagar beach, doesn't take long.

@butterflymontessori which area you recommend for overnight staying on Havelock?

I would recommend you to stay at Havelock Island explore the area and head off to Radhanagar beach early next morning so that you get to spend some time over there and come back to Havelock. That's the way I did it.

Stunning Radhanagar Beach has limited accommodation and simple restaurants, in the evening restaurants/shops close and area becomes very quiet, the beach is officially closed at nightfall, last bus at about 7 pm .. auto-three-wheeler-taxi are available.
However, my observations are from 2010/12 .. and as Havelock is India some rash and disagreeable changes are to be expected………..
