| jallegondam22:16 UTC15 Oct 2013 | Spent 3 days there last month , cheap hotel 38 Euro's,near hauptbanhof,easy to walk the city from there and I took a transportcard, 5,80 a day, value after 9 and in weekends full day,when tiered took U or S-bahn and harbour ferries, like. Nrs 62, 72 en 73 and bus 111 for new harbour district and Reperbahn,The Ferry 72 goes a long way on the river, very nice for sunset, the whole harbour area is very lively and interesting, could use the day card also to get to the airport.
Could take walk-away noodled right at hauptbahnhof. 3.80 for vegie noodles/tofu. Saw a lot, parks, city-lakes, big stores/shopping area has grandeur, also cheap food around St. Paul's area. Although most of the very old houses were distroid in fire and bombing, still very interesting, special around harbour part.
